HTML Stationery is a fairly new and fun phenomenon. It came into being with the progressive technology borrowed by E-Mail/NewsGroup reader software creators; the basic idea springing from Web Site creation. Its origins can actually be found in the Q-Mail Readers from a few years ago, when average computer folks started experimenting with ANSI Art (based on BBS ANSI Art) and started creating messages which included "artwork" and color text.
